College students of MLSU presented a memorandum today before the District Collector, in protest of the shameful act conducted in Delhi; youth gathered under the banner of “Youth of Lake City” a Student association of Udaipur demanded actions for security of females.

More than two dozen students joining hands with their Student Leader, Krishna Pal Singh Chundawat gathered at the Collector’s office and showed agitation by covering their faces with scarf. Apart from demanding death sentence for gang rape culprits, the group of students demanded measures for safety of females in Udaipur.

In their agitation, students also demanded for a special helpline number for female security, immediate reaction on any complaints lodged against females’ misbehavior, adequate arrangements to check eve-teasing at public places etc.

Series of demonstrations against the incidence of Gang Rape at Delhi seems to have brought a revolution amongst the Youth of the country as well as our city Udaipur, and all of them want justice and demand such actions that the shameful act is not repeated ever again in the country.
