Physical training teachers of Udaipur today submitted a memorandum at Collector’s office to bring forth their demand for promotion of third grade teachers. The memorandum was submitted under the banner of Rajasthan Sharirik Shiksha Sangh Mandal Udaipur.

Physical Training Teachers submit memorandum to Collector

Physical training teachers of Udaipur today submitted a memorandum at Collector’s office to bring forth their demand for promotion of third grade teachers. The memorandum was submitted under the banner of Rajasthan Sharirik Shiksha Sangh Mandal Udaipur.

The primary demand of the teachers focused on promotion of third grade teachers to second grade and second grade teachers to first grade. They mentioned that the process has been pending for quite a few years and promotions now need to be carried out.

In the memorandum they also demanded that applicants with sports background should be given bonus marks during the selection process before posting in all the departments of Government offices.

The teachers also mentioned that the subject of Physical education should be made compulsory in all schools according the RTE act 2009. Since last two years books of Physical Education have been removed from syllabus of 8th and 9th standard by S.E.R.T.

Finally, the memorandum demanded that proper space or grounds and equipment should be allotted to the schools by the Government and also separate budget should be made for Physical Education. Also, all the P.T.Is should be given Travel Allowance and Medical Expenses separately by the Government.

The memorandum was given under the leadership of District Head Shyam Singh Sisodia, State Vice President Karan Singh Chundawat and State representative Heera Lal Suthar.
