Savina situated city’s biggest fruit-vegetable market’s B Block witnessed strong protest by the farmers and mandi yuvaz for the unavailability of water.

 The farmers and mandi yuvaz held boards with slogans and broke earthen pots to display their anger outside the market committee office for over an hour and appealed to solve the water problems. The market officials gave a week’s time to solve their entire problems.

Mod Singh Sisodia, Chairman of the committee says that the lack of budget is the chief problem. After having talked with the secretary, necessary decisions will be taken.

For the water supply, there is a point at the market gate but due to filth around, drinking water from there is problematic. The irregularity of cleanliness in that area is adding to the woes. On this, the market administration says that due to completion of market tax, there is unavailability of budget for any other work to commence.
