Protestors demand arrest of accused Traffic Cop

Members of Muslim Mahasabha and Jhariya Marg Welfare Society have jointly condemned no action being taken against the accused traffic police constable who allegedly hit a teenage motorcyclist Shaukeen Shah which resulted in a fatal accident. The boy died after few hours during treatment.

Members of Muslim Mahasabha and Jhariya Marg Welfare Society have jointly condemned no action being taken against the accused traffic police constable who allegedly hit a teenage motorcyclist Shaukeen Shah which resulted in a fatal accident. The boy died after few hours during treatment.

18-year-old Shaukeen, resident of University Road succumbed to his injuries on 9th Sept. The mishap occurred at court chouraha on 8th Sept.

Protestors gathered outside collectorate and presented a memorandum to Superintendent of Police. They demanded arrest of the accused and also allege that police department is trying to distort the incident and naming it road accident.

According to Muslim Mahasabha, Shaukeen was from a poor family and used to work as an iron welder at Loha Bazar, Jhariya Marg.
