Various political parties, women rights group and students protested outside collectorate and demanded the arrest of Dr. Suresh Goyal, HoD Pediatric Department of MB Hospital for allegedly abusing a female resident doctor.

The protesters demanded arrest of Dr. Goyal and also appealed to reform safety and security measures of women and girls in hospital.

According to Aam Admi Party, sensitive cases like abusing a female should be investigated by an independent committee which should work without any pressure.

A female resident doctor, Vibha Choudhary lodged a complaint against her own senior and HoD of Pediatric Department, Dr. Suresh Goyal for abusing her on 24^th Aug. The incident became more complicated when colleagues of Dr. Vibha rejected her allegations and supported Dr. Goyal, however after intervention of district collector, police has lodged complaint against Dr. Goyal.
