The Ration Association of Udaipur District took up a protest today outside the Collectorarte quoting several unsolved issues and demands. The demonstrators handed over a memorandum to the Governor and the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Describing the problem, Satyanarayan Rinwa, Patron of the Ration Association said, “in the last budget, the Chief Minister ordered many food products, Cereals and Grains to be made available in ration shops but never delivered the goods to the shops”.

Because of this, the customers often argue with the Ration Shop owners. Ration Shopkeepers had observed a day long strike on 26^th June, but no positive action had been taken towards addressing their woes.

The Association had further asked several benefits in their 13 point demand and hoped to get a fair hearing on the long poised matter.
