Doctor left the procedure and asked the attendants to leave along with the patient. In the argument, about staying or moving to another facility, patient fell off the stretcher, which in turn intensified the argument.

Later, when the patient was leaving the MB Hospital premises along with the attendants, Resident Doctors allegedly called one of patient’s attendant, took him inside and scuffled with him. After a while, attendants ran off with the patient to another facility.

Dr. D. P. Singh, Superintendent, MB Hospital and Dr. S. K. Kaushik, Principal, RNT Medical College reached the scene and so does the Hathipol Police Station team.

Resident Doctors have declared a temporary ‘pen-down’ till they meet Dr. D. P. Singh and Dr. S. K. Kaushik to discuss the issue.

For now, a Police Team has been placed in the MB Hospital premises to prevent further troubles in this issue.
