Resident Doctors on strike; want "Final Solution"
Resident Doctors Association of Udaipur refrained from work today as the group announced strike against the recent manhandling incidents of resident doctors on duty by patient’s relatives in Bikaner and a similar incident that occurred in Udaipur on 13th September.

The strike will be indefinite till the demands are not fulfilled.
Resident Doctors asked permanent solution to stop the incidents of violence against them. “We want state level solution to the problem” says, resident doctors. They also demanded circle inspector as responsible for the security of resident doctors.
Other demand includes, the case of assaulting any resident doctors should be registered under Rajasthan Medicare Service Providers and Medicare Services Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property Act 34 of 2008.
Residents asked administration to keep only one relative or caretaker of patient in the hospital. No administrative officer should be appointed in the hospital because Medical Superintendent is efficient in handling the case.
The last demand is to take all allegations against Resident Doctors back in the incident occurred in Bikaner.
Udaipur Resident Doctor Association’s President Kaptan Singh informed that they started their indefinite strike in the morning at 8:45.
All senior doctors and interns have been asked to control the situation in hospital.
