Statewide strike of Resident Doctors was called off today after government agreed to all the demands made by the residents. Thus, the hospital work came to its normal speed after three days.

According to Kaptan Singh, president of Resident Doctor’s Association, Udaipur, and the strike ended today at 4pm after getting directions from associations of other districts.
Resident Doctors asked permanent solution to stop the incidents of violence against them. They demanded circle inspector as responsible authority for the security of resident doctors.
Other demand includes, the case of assaulting any resident doctors should be registered under Rajasthan Medicare Service Providers and Medicare Services Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property Act 34 of 2008.
Residents asked administration to keep only one relative or caretaker of patient in the hospital.
No administrative officer should be appointed in the hospital because Medical Superintendent is efficient in handling the case.
And all allegations against Resident Doctors back in the incident occurred in Bikaner.
Government has agreed all the said demands.
