More than a dozen social groups and organizations demanded compensation of Rs.50 Lac for Khushboo Pujari, 20, resident of Haridas ji ki Magri who died in a bizarre road accident, occurred on 24^th September.

Khushboo sustained serious head injuries when a piece of stone hurled out from a loading vehicle carrying rocks and stones and hit her. Khushboo was standing on the roadside at Mulla Talai.

The vehicle carrying stones got imbalanced due to suspected tyre burst and a stone flung out and hit her. Khushboo Pujari was student of 12^th Class.

Protestors alleged negligence of the driver and demanded justice for the victim and her family.

Organizations including, Vipra Foundation, Indian National Trade Union Congress, INTUC Young Workers Council, Audichya Brahmin Samaj, Central Students Union MLSU, Akhil Bhartiya Parshuram Yuva Vichar Manch, Chetak Circle Vyapar Sangh, Rajasthan Brahmin Jan Parishad etc. came forward in the support and staged protest outside the collectorate.

Protestors raised concern over proper traffic arrangements and overloading vehicles at Mulla Talai road.

Ashutosh Pednekar, District Collector said, “I have received the memorandum from the protestors and a copy of postmortem too. The process of compensation will start immediately. “

When asked about the traffic mismanagement, Collector said that the concerned department of police has been directed to act strictly on law breakers.
