Hundreds of teachers under the banner of Rajasthan Teachers Association (national) has laid dharna today in front of collectorate demanding remuneration, grade pay and other perks exactly same as promised by the government.

The teachers allege that they are in the state of confusion and hindrance caused due to State and Central government’s lack of coordination.

Presenting a memorandum to administration, teachers said that, Congress party had promised all the perks in their election declaration but nothing was implemented yet. The association also warned violent protest if no positive action was taken.
