Villagers from Rakmpura area stopped the anti-encroachment drive by UIT officials when the team went to take possession of a land used as a public cemetery.

UIT officials faced resistant by the villagers who claimed that the land of cemetery is under the ownership of village panchayat and not UIT.

UIT has launched anti encroachment driver on a large scale considering their upcoming Mega Residential Plan.

According to the villagers, the land was given by the UIT to villagers in 2002 & now UIT is trying to take it back.

Gangaram Suthar, Up-sarpanch, Bhaio ki Pancholi informed that the trust it also planning to take the land of old temple under their residential scheme,

The villagers warned violent protest if UIT tried to take the land of cemetery and temple.
