Many notable writers linked to Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi have asked Ved Vyas, president of the organization to resign from his position as the new state government is taking over the management.

The writers demanded state government to suspend Vyas in case he doesn’t leave the position and also demanded to investigate the alleged financial mayhem occurred in Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi during Vyas’s management.

Ved Vyas rejected all the allegations and said that he will follow state government’s orders. “I have no objection on their demands. It will be the decision of government and whatever government will decide I will agree”, said Vyas in a telephonic conversation.

Some of the well known writers including Nand Chaturvedi, Dr. Laxminarayan Nandwana, Dr. Mahendra Bhanavat, Jaiprakash Bhati, Dr. Lalit Pandey, Dr. Malay Paneri, Iqbal Sagar and Krishnakant Nahar alleged that Ved Vyas intends to organize prize distribution ceremony to honor his supporters.
