Children’s Day was celebrated in St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School with great pomp and show. A three hour long cultural programme was conducted by the teachers for the Paulians.
The celebration began with a highly devotional prayer song and dance which was followed by Birthday Celebration of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The cultural programme included speeches, solo and group songs, dances and Kavi Sammelan. Each performance conducted by teachers was a packet of entertainment stuffed with moral values, which became a booster dose of inspiration for self development of the students.
The Manager of the School Rev. Fr. Marcel Dodiyar addressed the children and encouraged them to be sincere, honest, truthful and feel the presence of God always. He told the students that St. Paul’s School is the perfect runway to take a flight into the world, after they complete their schooling.
In his speech, the Principal Rev. Fr. George V.J. inspired the students to imbibe for their life, the qualities of their own childhood namely forgetting & forgiving, simplicity and innocence.
The Children’s Day was celebrated on 4th November, 2015, in lieu of 14th November, as the school closes on 6th November for Deepawali Vacations.
