Students and their grandparents enjoyed a morning with music and dance at St.Paul’s Sr. Sec. School Udaipur as on Saturday the school celebrated the Grand Parent’s day.

The students of both LKG and HKG showed various performances with dances and songs of different kinds and entertained their Grandparents sitting in the auditorium.

Principal of the School Father George V.J while addressing the program said that the motive of organizing this day is to make the kids realize the importance of their Grandparents in their life and also to show gratitude and affection to them.

Father also said, “When someone asked me about the reason of organizing the day I gave the reason that I love my grandparents and wanted to remember them. We are living in a world where artificial lime is used for making a welcome drink where as real lemon is used for cleaning the finger tips which means that we are all drawing away from reality towards materialistic world.”

He further added, “Grandparents are a storehouse of wisdom and experience. Children are much safer in the hands of grandparents. Besides this they are a big support for single and working parents,” said Father George V.J.

The program began at the school compound at 11 am with lighting of the lamp. In the first half of the 3 hour-long program, a welcome speech has been given by the student of LKG whereas another group of students presented welcome dance on the stage.

Following that many performances of Solo Dance, Fusion Dance, Puppet Dance, Christmas Dance Skit, Fashion Show were given by the students of LKG and HKG.
