St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School hosted a 3-day educational seminar at the school premises for its teachers, students and their parents. The program was addressed by Jyotsana Bhardwaj who is a progressive educator, a consulting psychologist and a trained counselor of India.

Bhardwaj who specializes in student program commenced the seminar at 9 AM on 16^th April with the topic ‘Happy Parenting and Role of Teachers/Parents towards the Students.’ Later in the evening, another session was taken by her for students of LKG to 3^rd grade. The shape was given to the seminar by school Principal Father George V.J.

While talking to UT, Father George said that the school has always followed a tradition of inculcating the right values in the students’ right from their childhood. Father George introduced this year’s seminar theme as ‘Responsibility’ in which various educational programs will be conducted throughout the year.

Adding further he said that in the previous year, the theme catered to ‘Family’ and ‘Transformation’ which changed the entire atmosphere of the school and filled the students with zeal and energy.

In charge of Junior Section, Sister Pushpa said that the motive behind organizing the seminar is not only to benefit the students and teachers of the school but also to thousands of parents associated with them who would carry out better parenting and help develop in students better ‘life skills.’

During her speech, Jyotsana said that although she has been taking educational seminars in hundreds of schools, she was quite surprised to notice that there is one school that is following the theme in an entire year for better future of the students. Moreover, she congratulated Father George for initiating this fruitful step in bringing the students, teachers and parents at the same platform.

One of the alumni and parent Zuber Khan shared his experience of the seminar and said, “It is an appreciable initiative of the school. I really want to thank Father George and teachers for introducing theme based program for the students and involving parents to it as well. This will certainly help better parenting and also work as a bridge between kids, parents and their teachers for an all round development of the child.”
