The week-long celebration of Sports & Cultural festival was conducted during the third week of Deceber at St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School.

The week-long celebration of Sports & Cultural festival was conducted during the third week of Deceber at St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School.

The Annual Sports & Athletic Meet- Academic 2015 was conducted separately for girls and boys in different age groups. Long run, high jump, shot put throw along with 800 m, 400 m, 200 m and 100 m races were held for senior classes.

Similarly for middle sections, 400m, 200m, 100m and 75m races, sack race, lemon race, spoon race, high jump and long jump were the main events. Special three-legged race was organized for juniors whereas cycle races were conducted for several other age groups.

Along with sports, cultural activities comprising of solo & group songs, one act play on theme ‘responsibility’ etc. were organized.

One major highlight of the function was that out of 23 judges of the program 17 of them Including Lokesh Kavdia, Bhupendra Kalra, Rishabh Verdia, Nakeshtra Talesra, Naresh Verma, Tushar Sehgal, Mohammed Zuber Khan, Bhushan Soni, Divya Bulla, Swati Gokhru, Divya Mehra, Kavish Khamesra, Anosh and Arash Ilavia, DJ KR, Kavish Nagori, Arihant Duggar, Amit Shrimali, Navneet Kalra, Palash Birla, Nuruddin Bahar and Puneet Gakhreja were all ex students of the school and all are achievers in their own professions.

On 19th December, students of 9th and 10th classes displayed their culinary skills in three hours in the last session. The master chef session was judged by ex student and one of the prominent chefs Vimal Dhar (Rated Amongst one of the best chef of India) and Deepesh Kothari (owner of food court at one of the malls of the city) and Chef Hari Om Paliwal, Chef Ranjeet Singh Rathore and Chef Om Prakash Meena.

On the occasion Principal of the School Father George V.J stated that a new concept like “Master Chef” has been organized in the school just to develop the culinary skills amongst the students of today that does not like cooking or do any hard work, instead they are spending their time with mobile phones & computers. He further said that preparing Indian Delicacies will help them to develop taste of rich Indian cuisines and keep them away from Junk Food.
