Check Correct Medicine Cost With Pharma Sahi Dam App
NPPA enables patients to check real medicine prices, compare branded and generic drugs and file complaints against overcharging
Nov 26, 2025 - The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has launched an app under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers called Pharma Sahi Dam 3.5.2. This app has been designed to help buyers check whether medical stores or hospitals are charging excessively for medicines. With this app, you can check the actual price of any medicine from home by entering the brand name of the medicine or its main ingredient. The app not only shows prices but also compares branded and generic medicines and allows you to compare prices across different brands of the same ingredients. Pharma Sahi Dam is a free app for Android and will allow consumers to verify whether medicines are being sold within the approved price range.
If any medicine seems overpriced, the consumer can lodge a complaint through this mobile app by immediately uploading a photo or bill or file a complaint through the Pharma Jan Samadhan portal. After this, the NPPA team will investigate and take action regarding overpricing.
