SRK's Son Debuts as Director With 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood'

Aug 18, 2025 - Aryan Khan, the elder son of Bollywood’s King Khan, Shahrukh Khan, is ready to debut on OTT. However, Aryan will not debut as an actor like his father, but as a director. Aryan’s first show on OTT is called The Ba***ds of Bollywood.  Yesterday, the first glimpse of the show was released.

Action, Romance and Bollywood Masala

In the 1 minute 26 second first look video, Aryan appears first and talks about his show. He also says the superhit dialogue from his father Shahrukh Khan’s film Mohabbatein – “Ek ladki thi deewani si…”. The video gives a glimpse of the show, featuring Kill fame Lakshya Lalwani and Anya Singh. A love story is shown between them. There is also action and drama, making the series full of typical Bollywood masala. This web series promises the full Bollywood experience.

Aryan says in the video that Bollywood has given the world a lot of love and war. In his show too, viewers will see plenty of love and a little war because this is the story of Bollywood. He adds that the story has been pending for many years but will finally start now. Aryan has not only directed The Ba***ds of Bollywood but also written it. The preview will release on August 20, which will give more details about the show.

Netflix Release and Star Cast

Fans have been excited since the announcement. The release date has not been confirmed yet. Some of the stars mentioned on social media in the first look include Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal and Mona Singh.

Shahrukh Khan will also make a cameo in the series. During an Ask SRK session on X, he said many of his dear friends from the industry have participated in Aryan’s series. He thanked them and confirmed his cameo, saying, Main toh hoon hi, haq se.
