Employees of 108-Emergency service who went on strike yesterday have called off the protest and returned to work after they received their salaries due from the last two months.

Praveen Kumar Lohar, emergency medical technician informed that they received a cheque of 1 months salary and were assured by the higher authorities of their organisation that another cheque of one months salary will also be given soon.

There are 24 vehicles of 108-emergency service working 24/7 in the city and up-country.
