A young man from Goran Khala, Khar Village died on the spot after he allegedly set himself on fire presumably due to over consumption of alcohol. The house was also gutted due to the massive fire.

Navlaram Gameti, 26, a daily wage laborer had an argument with his mother Ditli Gameti last night on 17th February. Navalram was allegedly drunk and threatened his mother to commit suicide, subsequently pushing her before pouring kerosene on himself.

According to Suresh Gameti, younger brother of the victim, their mother ran out to call neighbors for help but till then Navalram was engulfed in fire. He died on the spot. Nai Police Station is investigating the case; however no suicide note has been recovered to conclude on the reasons behind the incident.
