Three minor boys who were accused of theft and lodged in a Rehabilitation Center at Chitrakoot Nagar fled away yesterday by breaking one of the windows. All three were aged between 15-16 years and staying at the center since April 2013.

The incident reportedly took place on Thursday afternoon when the boys escaped by breaking a window with the help of wooden stick they found from carom board.

Search started soon after the information about escape reached the staff. However, after not being able to find the boys, the staff lodged police complaint. There are 10 minor boys living in the centre. All three boys who escaped are from Pratapgarh.
