An awareness rally to promote the importance of Aadhar Card led by members of Youth Congress concluded today at Savina. The rally was led by Vivek Katara, President of Lok Sabha Youth Congress; started on 22 December 2012 from Gogunda, the rally covered the villages of Aaspur, Kherwara, Dhariyavad and adjoining tribal areas.

In its second session, the rally moved to Salumber area. MLA, Udaipur rural Sajjan Katara, also accompanied the rally and spread the awareness of Aadhar Card. Today, hundreds of people participated in the rally that started from Sector6 and concluded at Savina.

When asked Vivek Katara about the response he received during his promotional rally, he said that it surely affected the large mass of people and helped them to understand the value of government run Aadhar Card campaign. “You can see the increasing number of people in the queue of Aadhar Card, this depicts the outcome of our awareness rally”, says Vivek.

Vivek Katara also said, “Aadhar card will play vital role in the life of every Indian citizen, in future they will get pension, subsidies and many benefits only on the basis of Aadhar card”.

Vivek also added, “Presently the number of machines used at the Aadhar card centers are less in numbers, but for this we had a word with the authorities to increase the staff and machines at the centers and Vikas Bhale, District Collector is also putting in his efforts”.
