The ACB Special Court has given an order to the Central Police Station ACB, Jaipur to register a case against Dr. C.P. Joshi and five other people.

This decision, coming after a period of three years, was based on an istegasa that was registered by Kalyan Singh in 2009 in which Dr. Joshi was accused of misusing his power and influence in securing the position of Treasurer with the District Association.

Dr. C.P. Joshi had, earlier in 2009 also filed a case against Kalyan Singh, accusing him of rigging the elections of the Nathdwara Vidhayan Sabha, after Dr. Joshi lost the election by just one vote against Kalyan Singh.

The istegasa was presented by Kalyan Singh to the ACB Court in December 2009 and this case has been going in court since then. The ACB Court has now arrived at a decision, and thus ordered the Central Police ACB to register the case against Dr. C.P. Joshi and five other persons.
