Two people on a motorcycle were hit by a pickup Van at Debari, near the Ghata Wali Mata Temple today afternoon. The victims, Kishore Dangi, 30, and Prakash Dangi 21, were labourers, returning home on their motorcycle when a van hit them, killing Kishore on the spot, leaving Prakash with serious injuries.

The pickup Van was driven off by the driver from the accident spot, but a local resident, who witnessed the accident, managed to take the plate number of the fleeing vehicle. He gave the number to the Police. The Police rushed the victims to hospital and lodged a case of hit and run.

The deceased, Kishore was a resident of Maharaj ki Khedi, Dabok while Prakash resides in the Gudli Industrial Area.
