Initial reports suggest he succumbed to a heart attack
Mumbai, Oct 25, 2025: Bollywood and television actor Satish Shah passed away today on Oct 25, 2025 at his residence in Bandra East. This was informed by his personal assistant of 30 years, Ramesh Kadatala as per PTI.
His memorable character performances in many bollywood flicks viz. 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron', 'Kal Ho Na Ho' and 'Main Hoon Na' as well as television soaps like 'Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi', 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai'. Though a heart attack is suspected, Director Ashoke Pandit confirmed that Shah wsa battling with kidney disease and that kidney failure led to the heart attack. Subsequent to complains, he was taken to Hinduja Hospital for treatment, but he breathed his last at the hospital in Shivaji Park, as per Ashoke Pandit's post.
This news has again put the industry and country in shock after the demise of advertisement icon Piyush Pandey a day earlier. Several bollywood and television artists have poured out their condolences on the suddent demise.
