An anti drug camp was organized today at Central Jail to educate inmates about the bad effects of drug addiction and how to avoid drugs. The camp was organized in the joint association of Dr. Ramesh Joshi, Doctor of Central Jail and Dr. S.K. Kharada, HoD Department of Psychiatry.

The three hour camp contained lecture sessions by both doctors, including medical attention to the prisoners who are addicted with drug use.

25 inmates were consulted and prescribed medicines and required treatment according to one’s habit and temperament.

Udaipur Central Jail often initiates rehabilitation programs and invite local NGOs and other social service organization to revitalize lives of prisoners.
