In a heated argument between an attendant and an intern doctor today at MB Hospital, the attendant allegedly slapped the on-duty intern doctor.

According to Police, “The argument began when the on-duty intern doctor of Ward 6, asked an attendant to vacate the seat, which is for doctors in the ward. The attendant did not budge and instead started arguing.”

The argument rose and the attendant who was later identified as Nathu Lal Suthar slapped the on-duty intern doctor, Rahul Rana.

Upon hearing the voices, other doctors gathered and caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the Hathipol Police Station.

As per Police, the accused is in custody and a case has been registered.
