Auto-rickshaw slams after brake fail, 1 injured
In an unfortunate incident that occurred today morning, an auto-rickshaw banged into a wall at Jatwari area of Udaipur after the brakes failed. The driver, Devilal Harijan, 60, resident of Harijan Basti, Ambamata was injured badly and has been admitted to M.B Hospital.
The accident occurred when Devilal was returning back from a sloppy lane in Chittore ka Timba after dropping passengers. He lost the control over the vehicle on the slope since the brakes failed, and banged into a rocky wall.

The accident occurred when Devilal was returning back from a sloppy lane in Chittore ka Timba after dropping passengers. He lost the control over the vehicle on the slope since the brakes failed, and banged into a rocky wall.
The vehicle was knocked out so badly that the front side of the rickshaw was damaged completely and the driver has received serious injuries on the head and other parts of the body. The cause of the accident is assumed to be a mechanical breakdown.
Devilal’s family members were informed by the residents of Jatwari area, who admitted him to the hospital.
It was still considered to be fortunate as no passengers were in the rickshaw; also no pedestrian or other vehicles were crushed in the mishap although it was a dense residential area.
