Udaipur Bar Association declared a one-day strike today to protest over an incident of acid attack on a female advocate in Bhilwara. Shockingly, the attack occurred on International Women’s Day on 8^th March.

Bharat Joshi, president of bar association informed, “The incident is a big question mark on the safety and security of the victim advocate. It was a disgraceful act that took place when the country was celebrating the day of women empowerment.”

The association has demanded strict action against the accused and declared one-day strike in support of the victim.
