In a joint operation carried out today by anti human trafficking team and a local NGO, five children were rescued from three restaurants of the city and send to Child Home.

5 boys of age 11-15 were found working as cleaning boys at Bawarchi Restaurant, Daya Bhojanalay and Hotel Meera. The Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Goverdhanvilas along with members of the NGO, Seva Mandir, Udaipur today raided the restaurants and took all the child labourers in their custody.

The children are from nearby areas and villages of Badgaon, Rajiyawaas, Rajsamand and Jhadol. All the boys have been sent to child home at Ambamata.
