The Rajasthan government has approved the setting up of a Government College of Yoga and Naturopathy in Udaipur. The approval accompanied other similar approvals on Wednesday, 8 June.

Apart from the college in Udaipur, integrated colleges of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy will be setup in five other districts, viz. Bharatpur, Bikaner, Kota, Sikar and Jaipur. Health Minister, Government of Rajasthan, made a statement underlining the need and significance of “Ayurveda” that has been highlighted in the time of the pandemic.

The development of new colleges will result in new job prospects for the state's educated youth.

He also mentioned that 778 new academic and non-academic positions have been approved.
