An uncontrollable and unmanned truck ran over a motorbike while the bike rider closely escaped the mishap without getting any serious injuries. The motorcycle, however was damaged substantially as the truck completely ran over the two wheeler, in a weird incident that occurred at the Mulla Talai roundabout today.

Ambamata Police has seized the truck but not yet detained anyone. As per the police and some witnesses, the accident took place when the truck loaded with construction sand was parked near one Amardeep Store to empty the sand it was carrying. By mistake the driver left the truck in ‘neutral’ and went off.

Due to the slope, the truck moved forward and hit the motorcycle of Manoj Tiwari (in photo above), who quickly jumped off as soon as he saw the truck approaching him.

“The bike is completely damaged but the motorcyclist is unhurt due to his alertness”, says one of the police personnel present on the spot. The accident took place at 3pm.
