An electrically operated table, which requires to be installed with the endoscopy machine, was donated today to M.B hospital by Lions Club Maharana.

Earlier, the Endoscopy Machine was donated to the M.B hospital by RSMM. The machine is highly sophisticated and has multi tasking features, but there are various other equipments required to make the machine actually work, informed Dr. R.K Niyuji, Charted member Lions Club Mewar.

Rajesh Sharma, chartered member of Lions Club said that since the machine was kept unused, on the suggestion of Dr. Vipin Mathur and Dr. S.K Kaushik, we decided to donate the electrically operate table and other required equipments to make the endoscopy machine functional.

“We hope that now it will be convenient for patients to undergo endoscopy related test in Udaipur only and they will not need to travel to nearby cities in Gujarat. The table and the other equipments cost around 3.5 lac rupees”, said Rajesh Sharma.

On the occasion, Gulab Chand Kataria, former home minister and BJP leader inaugurated the table.
