An FIR was lodged by the father of the missing property dealer against 5 of the alleged persons of Udaipur today at Pratap Nagar.

Arjun Gangani, father of Amit Gangani, had submitted a written complaint to the police against Renku Sindhi, Sanjay Gurnani, Vinay Rajpal, Kanhaiya Lal Kumawat and his son Bittu Kumawat for allegedly loaning a huge sum of money at interest rates of 10-15%, thus attempting to recover a much greater amount.

“The victim’s father also blamed these people for threatening his son to return the money. Moreover, he is also under the suspicion that the accused have kidnapped Amit in order to reclaim the money,” said a police official. The police have launched their own investigation into the matter after the FIR had been registered.

Amit Gangani has been missing since 21^st May and the FIR for the same was lodged with Pratap Nagar Police on 26 May. Amit is still not found.
