2 hilly regions caught fire on Sunday whereas there were 3 areas on fire on Monday. Fire happens in the hilly areas and forests every summer.

On Sunday the hills in Kodiyat looked terrifying due to the fast spreading fire. The fire was doused by Monday morning.

On Monday the hills near Debari, Gorela and Pratapnagar also caught fire. The teams of forest department and the villagers put in joint efforts to douse the fire.The hilly region near Apni Dhani in Pratapnagar, hills near Ghata vali Mataji in Debari and the Gorela hills near Sajjangarh went ablaze. Members of the forest department, labourers, and the the villagers all got together to take the situation in control.
