The 18-year-old girl that died in mysterious circumstances on 30 Dec. has been identified after her family arrived from Nathdwara. Prima facie, it is considered a case of murder, as marks were noticed on the neck of dead body; a case has been registered against her on-the-run fiancé.
The deceased girl identified as Heena, alias Meenakshi d/o Thakur Das Gameti was resident of Ganesh Tekri, Nathdwara. After the accident, when Udaipur police informed other police stations about the mishap, Nathdwara police responded after contacting the family of the victim.
Today morning father of the girl and two younger sisters came to Udaipur and her father after identifying the dead body suspected murder of his daughter and blamed Amrit Lal s/o Kanti Lal Meena, her fiancé for killing her, informed Police.
According to Thakur Das, “Heena was staying in Udaipur from last three years and working in a beauty parlor at Neemach Khera, very recently she shifted to the same area in Devali in a rented room and during this she got into relation with Amrit, staying at Neemach Khera.”
“From 24th of December last year she started living with Amrit at his room, both of them wanted to get married and for this she had come to Nathdwara to convince our family and after having lunch they returned to Udaipur; on 30th I got a text from her mobile number and suddenly today got the information of her death last night. I doubt on Amrit for killing her and want the police to take strict action against the accused if found guilty”, added the saddened father.
At this stage, the police is also considering it a case of murder and registered a case against Amrit and have launched search for him.
