Haj 2026: Haj Committee Advices Pilgrims to Submit Applications Well Before Last Date of July 31

Udaipur, July 30, 2025: The Haj Committee of India has instructed all the State Haj Committees and their support teams to ensure that eligible interested pilgrims are directed to submit their applications well in time before the closure of the application submission window. As per the circular issued by the HCoI on June 26, the last date for submission of applications is July 31, 2025.

Instructions for timely submission

The HCoI has advised that all intending pilgrims should submit their applications well in time and not wait till the last moment, to avoid last minute issues such as server congestion, verification delays and other unforeseen issues. HCoI has advised all the State Haj Committees from under-quota states to make all possible efforts to improve application numbers. They have been asked to target awareness campaigns, coordination with religious and community organisations and facilitation of applications from the passport application stage through the final HAF submission.

Certification of Medical Fitness

In a corrigendum issued against Circular 5, the HCoI has clarified that the permission of certification of medical fitness of a pilgrim and/or a companion must necessarily be done only by a Government Allopathic Doctorand none other.

Extension of Last Date

At the time of publishing this post, there has been NO UPDATE related to extension of last date for submission of Haj applications. However, it must be noted that in 2024, the application deadline for Haj 2025 was extended twice. The original submission deadline for Haj 2025 was September 9, 2024, which was first extended to September 23 and then to September 30.
