Heavy rains cause various mishaps in the city
In the last two days of heavy rainfall, couple of mishaps was registered in the city including the rescue mission in Sisarma area.

Reportedly, today a man named Nathu Lal drowned in Udai Sagar Lake (Sukha Naaka). As per sources, he went for fishing and drowned. A rescue team responded to the scene.
Another incident of land slide was registered at National Highway 8, because of which traffic got disturbed for few hours.
As per the prediction of rainfall in the next 2-3 days in the city, High Alert has been declared and a team of National Disaster Response Force has reached to help in the rescue mission. Around 40 jawans of the team will be headed by RK Mishra, Asst. Commandant, as informed by the collector.
Meanwhile, in Sarada region, food packets were distributed and officials were asked to present report of any type of damages caused to property, roads and crops due to rainfall.
