Being globally renowned for its beauty and tourism, Udaipur a city surrounded by the Aravali mountain range will now add a new chapter in its glory as States’ first helicopter joy rides will soon start here that will offer various services to the citizens and also become an important means to attract tourism.

While addressing the media, Captain Vikrant of Mewar Helicopter Services informed that admiring the beauty of the city through a helicopter will be a new attraction for the city people which will give them a new experience with the help of the 5-seater helicopter, made by an American company which is famous for its quality, reliability and smooth handling.

The helicopter is designed in a way to provide scenic view whilst being comfortable in having a conversation with the pilot, Vikrant added.

On the occasion, the CEO of Mewar Helicopter Services Prachi informed that the company will take all the possible safety measures for the passengers and following that each one of them will be covered with a life insurance of Rs. 10 Lac. She also said that the helicopter will be taken care of properly with the team of AME engineers and technicians.

Prachi further said that her company will offer various types of rides including Joy rides, Premium rides, Ambulance services, weeding charter services, flowers dropping facilities. Along with this, the company will also provide a special service for dedicated tourist destinations including Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, Mount Abu, Ranakpur, Haldighati, and Nathdwara.

Prachi also said that besides these facilities the company will soon introduce the facility of Ariel Branding which will bring a revolution in corporate advertising.

The helicopter will fly from the Dabok airport in two shifts; the first shift starts from 9 to 11 AM and the second shift starts from 3 PM in the afternoon, Prachi informed.

An individual adult can enjoy the ride in Rs. 4000 and kids between 2 to 5 years can enjoy it for Rs. 1999.

The Business Associate of the company Girish Rawal claimed that till now his company has received 460 bookings in advance. He said that initially the rides will be available from the Udaipur Airport but soon a helipad will be developed in the city with the coordination from UIT.
