High Court decides on a land acquisition case after 48 years

After 48 years of efforts by Gajraj Singh Chandela, high court decided in his favor and gave him the possession of the land that his father purchased decades ago. Following the decision, the encroachments from the land were removed with help of Surajpol police station.

After 48 years of efforts by Gajraj Singh Chandela, the High Court decided in his favor and gave him the possession of the land that his father purchased decades ago.  Following the decision, the encroachments from the land were removed with help of Surajpol Police.

Gajraj Singh Chandela, resident of Gattani Square informed that his father Surendra Singh had purchased the land near the Airtel office at Delhi gate in 1965 but when they asked the seller to transfer the registration of the land on Surendra’s name, he refused.

High Court decides on a land acquisition case after 48 years

Thereafter, Gajendra’s father filed a case against the seller at the Sessions Court in the same year but the decision did not favor him. Then, he appealed at the High court.  After 48 years of struggle in the High Court, Chandela felt relieved today.
