Maharana Bhopal Hospital staff who are employed on contract basis has laid a one day protest to demand permanent jobs on 280 vacant positions.

Maharana Bhopal Hospital staff who are employed on contract basis has laid a one day protest to demand permanent jobs on 280 vacant positions.

Several posts of ward boy, ward maid, sweepers, cleaner, cook, lift men, peon and computer operators are vacant at Government run hospitals including MB hospital, Pannadhay Women Hospital, Child Hospital and Cardiology Hospital.

Under the banner of National contract labour association, the protestors demanded appointment of all the contract employees on the basis of their age and qualification.

A memorandum was given to Dr. S.K. Kaushik, principal RNT Medical College in the name of Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Workers protested in hospital compound and kept the day off.
