Lady gives birth on Road in absence of immediate Medical Support
A pregnant lady gave birth to a boy on the road as she could not get herself to hospital on time for delivery. After delivery the mother and child were reportedly shifted to MB Hospital.

Manju w/o Jagdish Meghwal, resident of lane no.3, Avrimata slum area, developed intense labour pain last night. He husband called the 104 Ambulance service for assistance but was reportedly told by the service operators that the ambulance would take more than 30 minutes to arrive on the scene.
The labour pains were increasing and the neighborhood ladies got together at Manju’s house with a motive to help her. They asked the husband to look for an auto for immediate transfer to hospital and not wait for the ambulance as the condition was getting critical.
When Jagdish went out of the house to look for an auto, his wife Manju followed him on to the road. However, after walking for 100 feet, she sat down on the road. On seeing this, the other ladies formed a human chain around here and assisted in the delivery, which went through and the baby was born.
A few minutes later her husband Jagdish took his wife and to the M.B hospital and admitted her at the hospital.
Later today morning, Vikas Bhalle, District Collector said, “I don’t have any knowledge about the matter and I have given the instructions to Dr. R.N Berwa, CMHO to investigate the matter and provide the report”.
On the other hand Dr. R.N Berwa said, “As per my knowledge the 104 Ambulance service is meant for villagers and rural areas”.
