An incidence of scuffle occurred yesterday afternoon at Zila Parishad between two politicians belonging to the same political party.  Madan Pandit was allegedly beaten by Pratap Singh, both belonging to the Congress. The fight erupted after a minor argument turned ugly.

The argument and fight eventually go a long way in showing the discord that is still rampant within the local Congress party members.

Sajjan Katara, a local leader of the Congress had gone to inaugurate a school, Rajyakya Madhyamik Vidhyalayat Badi.  A few members of the party objected to the event saying that it was earlier decided that the school be inaugurated on 3rd August 2013 and thus inaugurating it earlier was not advisable.

On this matter, the other group disagreed and when Madan Pandit protested against SajjanKatara, Pratap Singh started an argument with him, and the fight erupted, as per sources.
