Maharana Mewar Foundation Invites Entries for Annual Award
Award presentation ceremony to be held on March 15; applications open till December 20
Udaipur, Dec 8, 2025 - The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), Udaipur, has invited entries for the Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards. Applications are invited for the various international, national, State and district-level awards which will be presented on March 15, 2026.
Dr Mayank Gupta, convenor of the Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Awards Presentation Ceremony, informed that applications and nominations are being invited for individuals who have made notable contributions in various fields. The last date to apply is December 20, 2025.
The awards will be presented at the 42nd Annual Awards ceremony by the Foundation’s Chairman and Managing Trustee, Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar.

Completed forms may be submitted at the Badi Pol and Sheetla Mata Gate of Udaipur City Palace between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Details of awards are as follows:
International Level Award
Colonel James Tod Award - Conferred upon foreign scholars committed to universal brotherhood and engaged in service of lasting value to humanity, particularly related to Mewar. Includes Rs 2,00,000, a toran, shawl and citation.
National Level Award
Haldighati Award – For notable service to society through print and electronic journalism.
Hakim Khan Sur Award – For outstanding contributions towards communal harmony, patriotism, and national unity and integrity.
Maharana Uday Singh Award – For significant contributions in environmental conservation and enhancement.
Pannadhay Award – For acts of exceptional courage performed beyond the call of duty.
Each national-level award includes Rs 1,00,000, a toran, shawl and citation.
State-Level Award
Maharshi Harit Rashi Award – For contributions to spiritual awakening, promotion of Vedic traditions and religious practices.
Maharana Mewar Award – For outstanding and sustained service in educational, moral, social, and economic upliftment of society.
Maharana Kumbha Award – For contributions to Indian culture, literature and history.
Maharana Sajjan Singh Award – For work of enduring value in painting, architecture and other fine arts.
Dagar Gharana Award – For excellence in classical music, classical dance or folk dance in Rajasthan.
Rana Punja Award – For individuals from tribal communities who have made significant contributions to the upliftment of tribal society in Mewar.
Aravalli Award – For athletes from Rajasthan who have achieved distinguished accomplishments in sports.
Each State-level award includes Rs 51,000, a toran, shawl, and citation.
Student Category Awards
Bhamashah Award - For Bachelor’s degree and Diploma students. Eligible applicants are students from universities in Rajasthan, OR students who are Rajasthan natives but have completed their degree/diploma (academic year 2024-2025) at universities outside the State.
Maharana Raj Singh Award - For students from Udaipur’s universities/colleges who have excelled in sports or academic/co-curricular activities during 2024-2025.
Maharana Fateh Singh Award - For school students in Udaipur who passed Class 10 or Class 12 with high marks in 2024-2025, OR excelled in sports or academic/co-curricular activities in the same academic year.
Each student-category award includes Rs 21,000, a medal and a citation.
