Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat has been elected for the post of Secretary of the Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti, Moti Magri. He took charge of this position from today, amidst a plethora of wishes from friends and well-wishers.

According to sources, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Vice President of the Samiti nominated the name of Yudhveer for the given position himself. The council then selected him amongst other contenders for the same post. The charge was given by former secretary Vishwa Vijay Singh.

Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat is a businessman and social worker. He has formerly held important positions viz. General Secretary, NSUI (State), President, Udaipur Youth Congress. He is also actively involved in infrastructural projects by PDCOR (Project Development Corporation of Rajasthan).

When asked about the ideology he would be working on, Yudhveer said, “Maharana Pratap had a vision to bring together all the communities and mass, which he believed was the key to social development. Maharaj Kunwar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar always encourages youth to be at the forefront. So I will try and proceed on the same path and will do my best to bring the youth, community and the mass forward”.

He added, “My primary goal would be to create awareness among people about this place (read Pratap Smarak, Moti Magri) and its significance”.
