A case was registered today at Hathipol Police station against a gynecologist, by a man who alleged that because of the alleged ignorance of the doctor, her wife gave birth to a still born baby.

According to Police, Shantilal Bhagora’s wife Rekha Bhagora was expecting a baby but she had some trouble related to the birth. So the couple consulted Dr. Neena Saxena, Gynecologist at Amar Aashish Palace Private Hospital, Chetak Circle. Dr Saxena suggested that Rekha needs to be operated as the delivery should be ‘Cesarean’, to which husband and wife agreed.

The operation took place on November 5, 2012; Rekha gave birth to a still born baby. Shantilal Bhagora alleges that due to doctors negligence during the operation, the baby died and that the doctor fled away from the operation theater.
