Rajathan NRHM Nurses Association submitted a memorandum to district collector today afternoon in the name of Chief Minister to highlight their concern over the pending recruitment process of nurses owing to strike of Ministry workers since last 20 days.
The association further mentioned that there are more than 2800 positions still vacant for the female nurses (second grade). Verification of documents for all positions except general category of Female Nurses has been done 20 days back.
These positions have not been filled only because of the strike of ministry workers. The association further feared that if the strike delays the recruitment process further, the model code of conduct before elections could a further hold to the process.
They also mentioned that tomorrow all the nurses in the region, via the district collectors, will present a memorandum in the name of Chief Minster, Health Minster, State Health Minster, Chief secretary etc and demand them to restart the recruitment process.
