Mentally disabled man crushed to death
A mentally challenged man was killed when nearly half a dozen vehicles overran him one-by-one at National Highway no.8 near Kaya village today. The completely mutilated body was identified by a restaurant owner today morning.
It was around 8:45 am when Goverdhan Lal, owner of Shree Chamunda Restaurant noticed blood stained clothes and pieces of flesh spread on the Highway opposite to his restaurant, “The body was in very bad state and impossible to recognize but I saw the cloth and identified that it was of a man who used to roam around this area” said Goverdhan Lal.

According to police, more than 4 heavy vehicles had passed over the deceased which resulted in his death, the accident occurred probably during late night or early morning today.
The man was around 60 year old and was mentally challenged; he was first seen in the area some three months back and since then was staying here, said the restaurant owner. The body has been kept at the mortuary for post mortem, which will done the day after tomorrow.
