A mock drill of a hijacked plane was conducted at Dabok Airport today as a part of security alert and rehearsal. The team of CISF responded first which was followed by Dabok Police, A.SP Sudhir Joshi, SDM Satyanarayan Acharya and CID officials.

According to the information received by district administration, a plane going to Mumbai from Chandigarh was hijacked by four armed terrorists and due to lack of fuel the plane was forced to land on Dabok airport. During their conversation with airport officials, terrorists had killed two passengers.

Anti hijack committee, CISF, local police and administrative officials and CID responded to the situation.

According to an officer, the complete exercise was done under the direction of their seniors.
